Tuesday evenings beginning, April 16th 2019, from 5:30 pm – 7 pm, Freedom Hooves is calling all who are interested to train to be a volunteer.
I volunteer my time to Freedom Hooves throughout the year. I help in lessons, clean the barn, fix the fences, and help keep the facility a clean and safe environment for our clients and horses. Freedom Hooves has been a part of my life for several years now and I have learned so much. Just from volunteering, it has taught me numerous things such as working with horses safely, organization, leadership, job skills, and even people skills. Freedom Hooves has been like a family and I’m very proud to be a part of this organization to help the community, and to bring joy into so many people’s lives, like it has for mine.
I’ve discovered my passion for helping people through therapy on the horse, which I never would have found without this amazing program. Kendra E., Volunteer (age 14)
Find us at the barn or in the office of Freedom Hooves located at 900 Johnson Rd in Craig, Colorado. We need your help before and throughout our 2019 season!
Spread the Word
This event is weekly throughout the season, starting Tuesday April 16th and going until September. By joining us, you will gain confidence, which will make our training and learning about EAAT or Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies all the more fun! We are pumped for 2019 and look forward to seeing you there!
If donating is not right for you at this time, we can still use your help. Ask us how to volunteer and read more about it on our website. Leave your contact information and any specific interests or skill sets you would like to share with us in the contact form below.
